My research activities focus on technologies and methodologies for
modern web systems, interoperability, distributed data management
and intelligent digital infrastructures.
Web Technologies
Research on modern web technologies and architectures, with emphasis on web systems programming, distributed applications, cloud/edge environments, and sustainable user-facing applications. The work explores how web-based systems can become more efficient, adaptive, and scalable across heterogeneous infrastructures.
Data & Service Interoperability
Research on enabling seamless data and service exchange across heterogeneous systems through interoperable architectures, transformation mechanisms, semantic technologies, and data exchange protocols. Particular emphasis is placed on healthcare and cross-domain infrastructures, including standards-based and device-to-device information exchange.
Big Data Management
Research on scalable methods and infrastructures for storing, processing, analyzing, and managing large and heterogeneous datasets. The work includes big-data platforms, cloud/edge resource management, data ingestion and analytics, and adaptive mechanisms for improving the performance of data-intensive applications.
