Teaching
Undergraduate & Postgraduate courses taught at the Department of
Informatics and Telematics, Harokopio University of Athens.
Undergraduate Courses
Operating Systems (Lab)
The goal of this course is to introduce students to the fundamental
concepts and mechanisms of modern operating systems. It focuses on
processes and threads, CPU scheduling, memory management,
synchronization, file systems, and input/output management. Students
gain an understanding of how operating systems manage hardware
resources and provide services to applications.
Mobile Applications Development
The goal of this course is to provide students with the knowledge
and practical skills required to design and develop modern mobile
applications. It covers user interface design, application
architecture, device capabilities, APIs, data management, testing,
and cross-platform development. Students learn how to build
functional, responsive, and maintainable mobile applications.
Web Application Technologies
The goal of this course is to introduce students to the core
technologies and architectural principles used in the development
of modern web applications. It covers front-end technologies,
responsive design, client-server communication, web services,
APIs, and data exchange mechanisms. Students develop an understanding
of how interactive and interoperable web applications are designed
and implemented.
Postgraduate Courses
Full Stack Programming on the World Wide Web
The goal of this course is to provide students with an integrated
understanding of full-stack web application development, from the
user interface to the server and database layers. It covers
front-end and back-end programming, APIs, databases, authentication,
application architecture, and deployment. Students learn how to
design and implement complete end-to-end web applications using
modern development technologies.
